Quaint and charming, but with modern amenities, Sonoma Hotel on the Plaza is a centrally located bed and breakfast that makes a good base for exploring the wineries and other attractions of the Valley of the Moon. The 120 year-old landmark building that now houses the Sonoma Hotel on the Plaza started its history as a dry goods store and a butcher shop on the street level and a community/social hall on the second floor built by a German immigrant who chose a building in the style of the old country.
