Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration
Beaujolais Nouveau is a celebration of the first wine of the year. The tradition originates from France and historically features wine originating in the southern part of Burgundy.
The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration takes place on the third weekend in November. Many bars, bistros, restaurants, and homes all over the world join in on the fun. Beaujolais Nouveau is prohibited by french law, to be released before the stroke of midnight on the third Thursday of November.
French themed activities and food includes hors dovres and cheese paied with the star of the show Beaujolais Nouveau. Keep in mind this event is produced by Alliance Française de Santa Rosa and many people will be speaking French, which gives this event a nice added twist.
Any person under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
