The Festival of Harps and Dance at Spreckles Performing Art Center in Rohnert Park features a rich tapestry of world music styles.

This year marks the 20th anniversary  of the Festival of Harps at the Spreckels Center and it’ll be a full program of world harp music. First time for the Festival will be Burmese harpist Su Wai with an exotic traditional dancer. Laura Zaerr will present a world premier of her Appalachian Suite for classical harp and string quartet.  Maestro Youssoupha Sidibe from West Africa will showcase the lively music of the kora. The exciting new Bindi Society will feature contemporary sounds of voice, woodwinds and pedal harp. Diana Stork will perform new arrangements of Celtic tunes with her harp trio Triskela along with guests Teed Rockwell and other musical friends. Don’t miss this spectacular anniversary celebration.
