Description: Bring along a few extra tabs of Pepcid for the Great Petaluma Chili Cookoff, where local competitors will put their best spices forward in several categories of chili and salsa making, including separate categories for meat and vegetarian chili. Cool all that fiery food with some of Sonoma County's best microbrews, available for tasting for an additional $10 fee. This annual event takes place at Herzog Hall at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds, located in central Petaluma. Proceeds benefit Petaluma's Cinnabar Young Repertory Theater.
