Sonoma Annual Events - Live at Juilliard! Video
Live at Juilliard!
Music in Juilliard Park Santa Rosa Summer Concert Series (aka Live at Juilliard) is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon listening or dancing to free music with friends and family.
A nice stage is set up towards the back of the park next to the bocce ball courts. Feel free to bring a blanket, lawn chairs, picnic lunch, and, of course, a bottle of Sonoma County wine. Wine, food, and coffee are also offered on the premises; feel free to indulge yourself at the event.
The level of music played at Live at Juilliard is always very good, however it is the overall atmosphere that makes this event especially fun. Live at Juilliard is very family friendly as well as dog friendly, as long as your pooch is on a leash. Folks play frisbee, bocce ball, and dance to the music as kids run around and enjoy the day. Hats off to the city of Santa Rosa for creating this fun free event.

July 21 - The Sorentinos
“Classic rock ‘n’ roll with a modern twist, The Sorentinos is a band with a late sixties-era feel, accessible to the hipster kid from the in-crowd and his retired hippie parents too. Blending elements of British Invasion bands like The Rolling Stones and The Kinks with American folk rock artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Young, The Sorentinos create a kind of hybrid sound from its list of influences. What come out are folk minded, guitar-driven pop melodies in the musical vein of Tom Petty, Dire Straits and The Traveling Wilburys.” (Press Democrat, 2011)
