Held at award-winning Hotel HealdsburgShow on map, Pigs and Pinot brings together the country's most prolific pork and wine professionals, including four Master Sommeliers, toasting and tasting their way to determine the winner of the coveted Pinot Cup. Mark your calendars, set your phone alarms and alerts if you want a ticket to one of the hottest events in Sonoma Wine Country. Tickets go on sale Thursday January 16, 2014.

The celebratory weekend offers a series of intimate dining and educational events hosted by Chef Palmer. A cast of Master Sommeliers and international celebrity chefs will showcase some of the world's greatest Pinots with perfect pork pairings. Proceeds from this event will benefit Share Our Strength and local scholarships and charities.

Friday March 21 - Taste of Pigs & Pinot

Sample 60 highly-acclaimed Pinot Noir wines competing in the Pinot Cup competition, from Sonoma County and around the world. Tastings are served alongside a variety of pork dishes, including homemade sausages, charcuterie, grilled pork, pates and other special creations.

Guest chefs compete in an iron-chef style competition to create a winning dish using a whole pig. Hosted by Charlie Palmer and food loving actor, Mario Cantone.

16 Pinots, 4 Master Sommeliers, Only 1 Winner! Master Sommeliers compete in a "Battle Royale" pitch contest to sell you on their wine choices. You, the audience, will get to drink great Pinots while watching legendary battles and then crown the winner.

Spain Comes to Sonoma with a fabulous four-course dinner from fellow Top Chef 2013 contestants Chef Louis Maldonado and Chef Carrie Mashaney. For this menu, the duo will be playing up one of Spain’s favorite ingredients—pork—and pairing dishes with two of Sonoma County’s premier Pinot Noirs.

A sumptuous five-course dinner at Hotel HealdsburgShow on map’s Dry Creek KitchenShow on map. Each course features a signature creation from Palmer and his guest chefs. Every course will be paired with two limited-production Pinot Noirs from highly acclaimed wineries including CIRQ, Domaine Pierre Gelin, Rochioli, Roth, Te Kairanga and Pyramid Valley.

Pigs & Pinot Late Night is a post-gala celebration with after-dinner drinks and dessert in the Hotel HealdsburgShow on map lobby. All Pigs & Pinot celebrants are welcome to attend.
