The Safari West Annual Block Party is a great way to get a small taste of this wonderful and unique Sonoma County attraction. If you are interested in going be sure to make a reservation early as the open spots get grabbed up quickly.

The location of Safari West is on Porter Creek Road but if you are coming from the West you would know it as Mark West Springs Road. It's a heavily wooded area with windy roads and the entrance of Safari West is right off the road.

Visitors for the Safari West Annual Block Party are treated to a 30 minute guided tour by foot around the grounds and then taken on a 30 minute mini tour of the back area via a open vehicle lots of seating. It's well worth the $20 entry fee especially if you have kids under 13 that get in for free.

Check out the cheetahs, giraffes, lemurs, rhinos, and a whole aviary full of strange birds at the Safari West Annual Block Party. You'll find it hard to believe you still in Sonoma County!

Lunch will be available at the Savannah Cafe only to those folks who reserved in advanced! $15 adults and $12 for children.

Delilah's snack bar will also be open.
