This year SolFest has been scaled down to a one day event called Moondance. It will be a fun filled day celebrating renewable energy and sustainable living. Since SolFest was born in 1996 over 100,000 people have learned how to change the world while having fun. 

Ok, even though Hopland is technically in Mendocino County, we just had to include SolFest. This event definitely has a progressive hippy feel to it which makes it all the more fun. There are great high level musicians and bands that play on the main stage. There is a huge vending area that has a wide range of things to eat, drink and see. There's a wine garden and a wonderful little pond with weeping willows to picnic or hang out by. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, a water bottle and flashlight.

SolFest is a very kid friendly festival. Kids under 12 FREE.
