Stroll through historic Railroad Square in Santa Rosa, stop by participating merchants, and taste some of the city's best food, beer and wine. Tickets are $40 to get 10 tastes (these are quick bites of appetizers, deserts, whatever, or a sample size of wine). This is a benefit for 6th Street Playhouse.

The event is quite new and we haven't attended it yet, so we don't have much to say. If I remember correctly, the first such event was held last year. And friends who went gave it mixed reviews. The general feeling was "not bad," which to my ears sounds like "not so great." But this year, Ty Jones has taken over the helm. And Ty has done such an awesome job as co-producer of the Great Handcar Regatta that folks are expecting more this year. Sorry for the added pressure Ty...but great things are expected of those who do great things.
