Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival

Description:

The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is a full weekend of fun and frolic in and around the town of Sonoma, capped by a wild parade on Sunday with floats, marching bands, great costumes, fire engines, community groups, and wineries. Friday night kicks off the festival with a gala event with wine, food and live music. The festival continues all day Saturday and Sunday in the Sonoma Plaza with live music, food, wine, a grape stomp, and arts and crafts booths. The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is California's oldest festival after the Rose Parade, celebrating its 111th year in 2008.

Friday at the Sonoma BarracksĀ - Richard Olsen's Big Band Swing Orchestra

Saturday on the Square - Joel Rudinow, Natasha James, Ten Foot Tone and Bautista

Sunday on the Square - Madison Blues Band, The Whiskey Thieves and DAVID LINDLEY (3:30-5pm)

 

Notables: Bring a picnic or eat at any of the many Zagat rated restaurants along Sonoma Square. The Sonoma ValleyShow on map of the Moon Vintage Festival is a very kid friendly festival. Lots of stuff for kids to do including 2 full playgrounds right in the Sonoma Square.
