In this innovative workshop you will be guided through creating projects that are designed to enhance an understanding of techniques that are specific to working with encaustic in three dimensional forms. You will explore a range of methods and materials as well as a multitude of presentation options. Considerations for internal structure strength/support as well as methods to reduce fragility will be covered. Ideas for installation and modular work will be covered as well.

Projects will include:

• a free form wax object
• using fiber or paper as a structural form
• a form using plaster cloth

ALL materials are supplied for the class lead projects.
