Come by Aurora Colors and learn a new skill as an artist.  It's a class that's put on by Lydon Pullins, who is the co-owner of Aurora Colors.  He is skilled at fusing and kiln-forming, stained glass, painting on glass, and etching glass.

This class is a five week beginner class that's offered throughout the year.  You don't need any prior experience to enroll.  In this class you'll learn to fuse stained glass and slump it in a mold.  You'll also learn how to properly finish a fused piece.

Here are a couple other things you'll learn:

• Hands-on kiln procedures

• How to use frits, noodles, dichroic, and fiber board

This class does require that you own some specific tools.  You'll need a glass cutter, protective eye goggles, a marking pen for glass, breaking pliers, and running pliers.  You may rent the pliers for $1 a night during the class.
