Description: Plaza Arts Center
hosts a juried all media exhibit showcasing “Thirteen Local Artists” from September 24 through October 18, with an opening reception at the gallery on Friday, September 25 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibit includes works in oils, watercolor, acrylics, pastels, pencil, etched glass and assemblage. The artists exhibiting are Gerald Anderson, Melissa Adkinson, Mary Bramwell, Larry Cannon, Max Ellman, Stephen French, Bert Kaplan, Bill Pfeffer, Douglas Restivo, Joanne Taeuffer, Robert Tutone, William Webster and Rae Ann Williams. Awards are given for Best of Show for Excellence for a Body of Work and Best of Show Excellence for an Individual Work. During this exhibit, the works of our Resident and Invited Artists continue to be on display in the west gallery. Plaza Arts Center is a non-profit, community gallery and arts center dedicated to enriching the artistic life of our community through art classes for youth and adults, gallery shows and social events, and support of local school art programs.
