The fun starts at 5:00pm with free children's activities in Courthouse Square including pictures with Santa. The Sutter Hospice Remembrance Tree Lighting program begins around 5:45 with kids crafts, a visit from Santa, holiday sing-along, refreshments, live music, and of course, the magical and memorable candle lighting and tree lighting ceremony.

In a short tree lighting ceremony, the three evergreen trees in Center Park are illuminated by thousands of lights to symbolize the the lives, hopes and dreams of the community. For a $10 donation, a light can be dedicated in memory or in honor of a loved one. Hospice will also send an acknowledgement card to your family and friends sharing your gift of light.

WINDSOR

This house has around 25,000 lights on 50 displays that are all put on by hand. One of their most popular displays is Santa in a helicopter. Lights are on M-Th from 5:30pm-10pm and F-Su 5:30pm-11pm.

Walnut Street, also known as Snowman Lane, is a must see! The entire cul-de-sac gets into the spirit and the whole street is lit up. Most people get out of their cars and walk up and down the street enjoying the lights and sound displays. It is truly something.

This display has been a work in progress for over 36 years and includes many animated elves, snowmen, animals, a Santa Claus with his reindeer, and a miniature railroad. The characters are all home made and are brought to life using 12 volt windshield-wiper motors. Thousands of lights outline the house and yard, music plays, and occasionally "snow" will fall. Be sure to take a close look around, as there several items hidden (or not so hidden) in this display; including pop-culture nods, a REAL 1.5 foot snowman, and more!

Lights are on starting Dec 7 - Dec 31. Weeknights 5:30pm - 9:00pm, Weekends 5:30pm - 10:00pm, and 5:30pm - Midnight on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

ROHNERT PARK
Weaver's Winter WonderlandShow on map

For over 15 years, Scott Weaver has transformed his Rohnert Park home into a castle with almost 300 handcrafted characters, 40,000 lights, a waterfall, a tower, a train and a bubble machine. Weaver also decorates his neighbors houses making this a truly remarkable neighborhood full of Christmas lights.

Lights are on from 5:30pm - 9:30pm from December 1st through December 31st.

With help from their neighbors, these homeowners spend several weekends setting up all the lights and decorations. Each year several new decorations and strings of lights are added to the house. It is a work in progress and will grow bigger and brighter, year after year. Come check out the 15' tall Hot Air Balloon with Santa in it.

This display has 401 sets of lights totalling 35,500 bulbs. Santa will be out from 6pm-7:30pm on the following dates: Dec 6th-12th, Dec 17th-19th and Dec 23rd. Tiny toys and candy canes will be handed out to the kids.

This display features Santa's sleigh, made from a 20 foot fishing boat, with a huge sack of toys pulled by 9 reindeer. Lots of hand painted decorations and lights. "A Christmas Story" plays on a television visible from outside with audio transmitted to the FM in your car. The famous leg lamp is proudly on display in the front window along with a Red Ryder bb gun. On select nights, they turn on the fake snowmaker for the kids to play in.

PETALUMA
Petaluma City of Lights Driving Tour


Petaluma's holiday spirit shines brightly in The City of Lights Driving Tour. Numerous homes and dozens of businesses glow with thousands of lights and decorations in this annual event that has become a tradition that families look forward to every year. After Thanksgiving, pick up a free map and list of addresses for the self-guided tour at the Visitors Center at 210 Lakeville St. They're open every day from 10am to 4pm.
