Cooking School invites you to join instructor Mary Karlin for a morning dedicated to learning the basics of cheesemaking and ways to use fresh cheeses in a variety of dishes. Students taste cheeses that are made in class, and discuss the distinctions between styles and flavors. At the conclusion, students will share cheeses to take home. Note: Price includes containers to take cheeses home.
• Panir – dense, firm cow’s milk cheese
• Queso Fresco – mild, crumbly cow’s milk cheese
• Chèvre – tangy goat’s milk cheese
• Ricotta – creamy, mild cow’s milk cheese
