has put together a cooking class showcasing a collection of some of their favorite dishes from their Tuscan heritage. The first dish is Bruschetta Con Gamberoni, a delicate take on crostini made perfect by fresh plump prawns quickly sauteed in their family's own Limoncello. For the second course, they will show you how to make a dish perfect for a crowd - Zia Anna's Gnocchi Al Forno. Made with both spinach and semolina, this is a completely different version of gnocchi than most people are used to. The main course is a true Tuscan Classic, Uccelletti Falsi - rolled and baked, luscious little scallops of veal, stuffed with homemade fennel sausage. Finally for dessert, a quintessentially Tuscan cake,Torta Di Mandorle - a light and delicate cake topped with flaky almonds and a glossy apricot glaze. Come hungry, this is one meal you won't want to miss!
The class will be offered twice, on two nights. Choose the one you prefer. Class will begin promptly at 6:30pm in the kitchen of the Depot Hotel Restaurant
(The doors open at 6:15). Dress comfortably, bring a pen or pencil, and be prepared to relax and have fun! Class includes the four-course dinner with full portion servings, wines to match every course, and the recipes...so come hungry!
