While the Kentucky Derby is often referred to as the “Two Most Exciting Minutes in Sports,” the Meals on Wheels Derby Day can be referred to as “The most exhilarating, exciting and intense 4 ½ hours in Wine Country.” The stunning grounds of Sonoma-Cutrer Winery provide an elegant backdrop for an afternoon which includes a competition among some of the great chefs in Sonoma County, a lunch prepared by other leading chefs, a derby day hat fashion show and a silent and live auction that will surely delight the lucky 325 guests. All the while with the Kentucky Derby being simulcast LIVE on big screens.
