Kick off summer with a virtual trip to Asia. Join chef Mei Ibach, who leads culinary tours to Singapore, Thailand and China in her spare time, for the August 2011 Lunch & Learn classes with this flavorful summer menu inspired by her travels to Thailand and Vietnam.

Guests will learn how to use wonderful ingredients such as lemongrass, curry, and pho noodles to spice up everyday grilled chicken and seasonal vegetables. Once lunch is served, chef Mei will shift gears to demonstrate a tangy frozen dessert that doubles as an Asian-inspired cocktail. Guests will savor every bite as they take in authentic Asian cooking methods.

  • Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Summer Vegetables in a Mild Green Curry Sauce with Rice Pho Noodles
  • Sake-Shiso Ice with Fresh Cherries
Notables:

 This class will be held on August 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31.

This Relish class includes 4 ounces of wine per person served to all participants over 21 years of age. Additional wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
