Mardi Gras Murder Mystery Dinner
A Murder Mystery Dinner show will be part of this year’s entertainment at the Cloverdale Citrus Fair
. “Murder at Mardi Gras” will take place in the Citrus Fair Auditorium on Saturday and Sunday evening, February 18th & 19th. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of entertainment, dinner, and dessert.
As the curtain goes up, the audience will discover that New Orleans’ most prominent neighborhood has been rocked with the murder of an elite member of its circle. Pierre Dupre, King of the Krewe, has been found strangled by an antique strand of Mardi Gras beads.
Suspects include Dupre’s much younger wife, a former waitress whom he met in Las Vegas; his attorney, a long-time friend who has been spending an outrageous amount of money refurbishing his Garden District Mansion; his daughter or her law student boyfriend from the swamp who wants to ask for her hand in marriage; his personal chef or the mansion’s maid who are having a secret affair; his illegitimate jazz musician nephew; and an internationally renowned authoress of gothic novels who lives next door.
Join in the fun as a New Orleans Police detective deftly – or maybe not so deftly – uncovers the clues to unmask the murderer.
Tickets must be purchased in advance through the Citrus Fair office by calling 894-3992.
