The Culinary Dude, Scott Davis, returns to Relish for monthly afterschool cooking classes for kids. As with all Relish kids classes, participants will make each dish from scratch, learning fundamental skills like measuring, recipe reading and kitchen safety along the way. Kids will definitely be hands-on as they make this gross but delicious Halloween-inspired menu. They'll make meatballs and shape them into rats, adding eyes, ears and tales. They'll get creative with veggies and make a yummy tomato sauce. Then they'll get gooey with caramel apples. At the end of the class, kids will sit together to savor the meal they created and review what was learned.
