Teens 3-Day Spring Break Camp at Sur La Table
Unleash your teen's kitchen creativity with this special hands-on cooking and baking boot camp designed just for them. For three days your teen will learn valuable techniques essential for many years of culinary success and enjoyment. Working alongside other young chefs and Sur La Table experienced instructors, teens will practice their new skills while whipping up delicious culinary creations.
For three fun-filled days, experienced chef instructors will walk teens through kitchen fundamentals like basic knife skills, how to follow recipes, measuring, and mixing. Students will also learn chef’s secrets for proper seasoning and flavoring techniques as their train their palates. They will learn a number of cooking methods, like making sauces, searing meat, making fresh pasta dough, and much more as they prepare a number of sweet and savory recipes.
On the last day of class, students will be divided into teams and can get creative during the cooking competition so they can show off the techniques they have learned. Parents are encouraged to come to the end of class that day to watch the crowning of the winning team.
