Wild Mushroom Foray and Demonstration Lunch at Relish
Come forage with chef Elissa Rubin-Mahon, past president and founding culinary chairperson of the Sonoma County Mycological Association, who will teach how to collect, store and use local wild culinary mushrooms. Meet at a scenic private property near Healdsburg and venture into the surrounding woodlands to foray under the watchful eye of Elissa. After the tromp in the woods you will return to the Relish Culinary Center for a cooking demonstration and four-course wild mushroom lunch. A complete lunch will be served with premium local wines.
MENU
Heavy rain could force the forage portion of the class to be canceled but the remainder of the class will still be held. Please wear warm, comfortable clothes and mud-friendly shoes and be prepared to walk on rugged, hilly terrain. You are welcome to bring mushroom samples to discuss and attempt to identify.
This Relish class includes 8 ounces of wine per person served to all participants over 21 years of age. Additional wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
