Wine Country Baking Weekend at Relish
Relish's bread baking and pastry classes are always hugely popular so they're combining and expanding on these two areas to bring you a weekend bake-cation! They'll mix it up with master baker Karl Seppi and his sidekick Mairin Rossi leading two sessions on bread baking. Pastry chef extraordinaire Shelly Kaldunski will lead two sessions on pastry - one focusing on sweet pastries and the other on savory. Along the way, participants will learn loads about pate brisee (classic tart dough), laminating technique for croissants, simple biscuit dough for scones, and handling, shaping and baking with yeast dough for bread, focaccia, cinnamon rolls and more.
You will be immersed in all things baking, including in-depth from-scratch techniques and methods. The weekend includes dinner on Friday night, lunch on Saturday and Sunday brunch, with many of the items made by the participants. Saturday late afternoon and evening are free to explore Healdsburg and its amazing restaurants.
