has announced its first annual “Live from the Middle Reach” Summer Music Series. The lineup will feature intimate singer-songwriter performances on the grounds of the C. Donatiello certified organic wine estate. Set in the Aroma Gardens, with sweeping views of the Russian River Valley’s Middle Reach, the series includes ticketed as well as complimentary musical performances every Sunday, June 15th through September 28th, from 1pm to 4pm. While the complimentary performances are free to wine country visitors, ticketed events are $35 per person.

Last month, San Fran Voice was lucky enough to get an interview with Lisa Sniderman, the voice of Aoede. In that interview, Lisa told us that Aoede is a folk-laced pop-rock duo which takes its name from the muse of song in Greek mythology. After listening to the four tracks on their EP, Ear Candy, I have to say that the name is fitting. The music conjures up all of the fantasy and inspiration of a beautiful, tragic myth. It is a story-telling, magic-making kind of music...
