John Lennon Tribute Concert Presented by The Plastic Fauxno Band
Spreckels Performing Arts Center will be welcoming The Plastic Faxno Band - a John Lennon tribute band who covers the joyful and intense genius of Lennon's solo material. Led by Drew Harrison, original singer-songwriter, leader of The Sun Kings, and considered one of the world's best John Lennon interpreters, the band features world class musicians: Tiran Porter, Tim Gorman, Chris Solberg - former members of The Doobie Brothers, The Who, and Santana respectively, Bobby Strickland of Todd Rundgren's band, Donn Spindt of the Rubinoos, and others.
The world never had the opportunity to see and hear a full-length concert of John Lennon performing songs from his entire solo catalogue. The Plastic Fauxno Band respectfully and energetically brings that concert to the stage.
