Description:
Wells Fargo Center welcomes the Santa Rosa Symphony's Puppets, Princes and Paremski conducted by Bruno Ferrandis.
The puppet Pétrushka comes to life as the suffering hero of a Russian ballet once danced by Vaslav Nijinsky. A witch curses a prince in an opera suite of rhythmic, angular melodies and garish orchestral colors. And amidst all this intrigue and romance, pianist Natasha Paremski performs Prokofiev's best known concerto. Paremski, Classical Recording Foundation's Young Artist of the Year in 2010, is making her third appearance with the Santa Rosa Symphony.
