Sonoma County Blues Society Wednesday Night Jam
SCBS gives everyone a chance to jam (and learn) in a real band setting. This is an experience that can't be duplicated out in your garage when the family is at the store, so join up! Don't worry about not being "good enough," it's all about meeting people and getting a chance to play with a band. It's a lot more fun than playing or singing the blues along with your stereo. You've got to sign-up to play. The turnout can be pretty large, so get there early. Sign-ups are handled by the Jam Master. Follow the jam master's directions on line-ups, the number of tunes, etc. Sometimes we have to pick up the pace and shorten the sets to get everyone through. Be aware that the order musicians play in does not follow the sign-up order. We do try to get everyone up, but there are times when it just won't happen especially if you arrive after 9pm.
