Beginner's Bird Walk at Spring Lake Regional Park
Spring Lake Regional Park
staff will be having a beginner's bird walk for anyone to come and enjoy. Everyone will meet in the parking lot by the swim lagoon to start the day. You'll learn about birds and how you can identify the different types. You're sure to see local bird as well as the migrating birds.
Ranger Kep Eng and Park Aide Dave LaCasse will lead the leisure walk. It will be an easy walk that is suitable for participants of all ages.
It's a good idea to bring binoculars and field guide with you on the walk. This will make identifying the birds much easier. You'll also get a closer view of them all.
To make the walk even more enjoyable, make sure to bring enough water and snacks for everyone in your party.
