Description: Canine Companions for Independence is celebrating great Hollywood pairs at Bone Appétit - A Celebration of Great Pairings.
On Sunday September 18 from 2 to 6 p.m., the 12-acre Jean and Charles Schulz Campus in Santa Rosa will be transformed to accommodate an expected 600 guests, 50 restaurants and wineries, live music, and live and silent auctions. Local chefs, wine makers, and celebrities are donating their time and expertise to help raise $200,000 for Canine Companions.
Guests will be treated to time with puppies-in-training, plus live dog training demonstrations with Canine Companion trainers. Several Canine Companions graduates will be present to help communicate the advantages of having an assistance dog in their life.
Tickets are on sale now for $75 a person or $125 a pair at www.cci.org/boneappetit or by calling 707-577-1777. All proceeds benefit Canine Companions for Independence.
Notables: Enjoy delicious food and wine pairings, spectacular silent & live auctions, demonstrations by Canine Companion trainers and informative talks by Canine Companion graduates, puppy raisers and breeder caretakers. Keynote speaker will be Jennifer and Facility Dog Nilani who work at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.
