Fall Farm to Table Dinner at Quivira Vineyard
Join Quivira Vineyards for the fall edition of their quarterly Farm-to-Table Dinners. These dinners are a unique and special occasion where they offer guests an in-depth look at Quivira’s farming practices, winemaking, wines and other amazing estate features.
Upon your arrival, pick up a glass of wine, grab a few items from the garden to be prepared with dinner, and then head off on an intimate tour of the estate. Hear Farm Manager Andrew Beedy talk about their various types of animals and organic vegetables before wandering over to visit with Ruby, their resident feral pig. Then travel into the vineyards and learn about their Biodynamic winegrowing philosophies from Assistant Winegrower Ned Horton. As the sun goes down, dine al fresco in the garden. Enjoy a multi-course dinner, cooked by a local guest chef, paired with Quivira’s limited production wines. Winemaker Hugh Chappelle will give his insights into each wine throughout dinner and you will have the opportunity to purchase these special wines that night.
Space is limited!
Dress attire is casual, wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes as it gets cold when the sun goes down.
