Seasonal Farm to Table Dinner at Quivira Vineyards and Winery
Join Quivira for the summer edition of their quarterly Farm-to-Table Dinners. These dinners are a unique and special occasion when they offer guests an in-depth look at Quivira’s farming practices, winemaking, wines, and other amazing estate features. Upon your arrival, pick up a glass of wine, grab a few items from the garden to be prepared with dinner, and then head off on an intimate tour of the estate. Hear Farm Manager Andrew Beedy talk about their various types of animals and organic vegetables before wandering over to visit with Ruby, their resident feral pig. Then travel into the vineyards and learn about their Biodynamic winegrowing philosophies from Assistant Winegrower Ned Horton. As the sun goes down, join them to dine al fresco in the garden. Enjoy a multi-course dinner, cooked by a local guest chef, paired with Quivira’s limited production wines. Winemaker Hugh Chappelle will give his insights into each wine throughout dinner and you will have the opportunity to purchase these special wines that night.
