Chef Mateo Granados once again brings his "pop-up" Yucatan Supper Club to Amphora for two delicious nights! Everyone in this neck of the woods knows Mateo and his GREAT food, but for those unfamiliar, here's a little background:

Mateo hails from a ranching and farming family, and grew up in Oxkutcab in Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. He's had an extensive career in the food and wine culture, including time at Masa's, Alain Rondelle,  and Manka's Inverness Lodge. Before branching out to expand his catering business several years ago, he was Executive Chef at Healdsburg's Dry Creek Kitchen. Over his years in Sonoma County, Mateo has developed relationships with a wide range of local farmers, ranchers, and growers. His obsessions with the freshest and most local ingredients melds perfectly with his cooking style of Yucatan-inspired, California-inflected dishes. Chef Mateo's underground supper club is a completely mobile full-service dining experience, and Amphora is thrilled to welcome him once again.

The menu for the Tendejon is adjusted day-to-day, as the raw ingredients are picked, caught, or prepared, but here is the menu for previous dinners at Amphora. These dinners are extremely popular, and highly regarded, so if you want to attend, don't hesitate. Plan on getting to know your tablemates at this convivial gathering.
