Rhone Is Where The Heart Is at Quivira Vineyards and Winery
Join Quivira Vineyards for the winter edition of their quarterly Farm-to-Table Dinners. These dinners are a unique and special occasion where they offer guests an in-depth look at Quivira’s farming practices, winemaking, wines and other amazing estate features.
Their winter dinner is unique from the others during the year, as they move indoors for an exclusive wine blending session with Winemaker Hugh Chappelle. Guests will “play winemaker” using classic tools and techniques to taste and combine different Rhone varietals into a balanced, sumptuous blend. Participants will learn the characteristics of each varietal and gain insight into Hugh’s winemaking philosophy and methods, learning what it takes to create Quivira’s Rhone blend Elusive. Following the blending session, guests will savor the rich, comforting flavors of a farm-to-table meal prepared by an exquisite local guest chef and Winemaker Hugh Chappelle will lead a discussion of their unique Dry Creek Valley
wines.
