Union Hotel Restaurant, east Santa Rosa

Union Hotel RestaurantShow on map on Mission Blvd has NO hotel.  The name is a carry over from the original hotel-restaurant in woodsy Occidental, west Sonoma County.

This new building has roomy dining areas with nice reproduction arts & crafts era architecture. Comfy booth seating and plenty of tables.  The restaurant gets busy especially at lunch hours.

The food is a carbon copy of their landmark Union Hotel in woodsy Occidental. The business is now run by the family's 3rd generation.

The menu is full of Italian style California dishes.  Big salads, pasta dishes, meaty sandwiches on house made bread for lunch. There is a full bar. The wine list concentrates on northern Californian bottles.

Pick up some house made cookies for sale at the register on the way out.  They're delicious!
