West County Grill is the newest hotspot on the plaza in the hip, green West Sonoma County enclave of Sebastopol. This open, lively restaurant with exposed brick walls features hearty Mediterranean fare, wood oven pizzas and even a signature Westco burger. Start with a sampler of the day's featured oysters, split a pizza and move on to main courses such as Liberty duck breast and Niman Ranch leg of lamb. Happy hour is from 4-6pm Monday through Friday features $1 oysters, 50 cent chicken wings and a wide variety of bar specials. The eclectic at the wine list at West County Grill features both old world and new, with a leaning towards Italian but enough local choices to keep the faithful happy.
