Quarryhill Botanical Garden
The Quarryhill Botanical Garden is a little bit of Asia in the center of Sonoma wine country. The focus at Quarryhill Botanical Garden's 20 acres is on rare and endangered species from China and Japan. Since its founding in 1987, Quarryhill Botanical Garden has become one of the largest collections of scientifically documented wild-source Asian plants in North American or Europe, collected during 15 expeditions. Self-guided tours are available at Quarryhill Botanical Garden every day, and if you are part of a party of 6 or more group tours can be arranged in advance. The third Saturday of every month there is a docent led-tour and throughout the spring and summer other special events and activities are held at Quarryhill Botanical Garden.
