Jack London State Park
Fans of author Jack London will enjoy visiting this park, which was once his home. London lived here on Beauty Ranch in the Valley of the Moon from 1905 until his death in 1916. You can visit his cottage where he penned many of his famous works as well as the charred remains of Wolf House, his dream home that burned down in 1913. Other outbuildings can be visited too, and there is a nice picnic area in this woodsy park as well.
