Riverkeeper Park
After a donation of 5 acres directly on the Russian River in downtown Guerneville a few year ago, the local community has started to transform a once trash-ridden, invasive plant overgrown, druggie infested piece of land into Riverkeeper Park. Riverkeeper Park will increase river access and provide picnic facilities and outdoor space for the whole family. Every Wednesday, they welcome volunteers to work on the development of this park, with refreshments provided.
Hours: Wednesday, 8:30am-11:30am, as long as there is no rain
