Shollenberger Park
Shollenberger Park was established as a way of preserving native wetlands while providing the community with a place to enjoy the outdoors. A two-mile circular trail plus a one-mile trail through Altman Marsh are available. Shollenberger Park is home to many native species, including the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse, and is a mecca for birdwatchers interested in both year round residents and migratory birds who flock to this inviting habitat. Docent led tours of Schollenberger Park are available.
