Tolay Lake Regional Park
Thanks to a recent land bequest, Tolay Lake Regional Park is set to become one of the largest county parks in the entire Bay Area. It features farm and grasslands, ridges, a freshwater lake and wetlands, and is home to a number of threatened animal species. The site of Tolay Regional Park is also one of national prehistoric archaeological importance and a historical spiritual center for Native American At the moment, environmental studies are still being carried out in this new park, so it is not open to visitors on a regular basis yet, but guided hikes are offered on a regular basis by reservation only.
