Armida Winery
This oh so hip winery (with a slightly macabre sense of humor) has a killer view high above the confluence of the Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. Known in Wine Country for its well-made Zinfandels, but the quality here is high across the board. Taste, picnic or bocce ball, all with a view.
Notables:
Armida's main tasting room is in a cool geodesic dome with a view for days, surely one of the best views in Sonoma County . The vibe is hip, young, eclectic and sometimes punk. The wine is good to great, with a broad range of varietals. Love the Gewurztraminer.
