BR Cohn Winery
BR Cohn Winery is a medium-sized producer of some of Sonoma County's finest Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay has in the last few years added a wide range of varietals. BR Cohn is also known for their olive oils, this is a great place to spend a good part of an afternoon, enjoying the new picnic area, then tasting wine, olive oil, and food products.
Notables:
Doobie Brothers manager Bruce Cohn started his eponymous winery in 1984. His venerable Olive Hill property produces some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon fruit in Sonoma County, partly due to its unique microclimate--the BR Cohn property sits on the same aquifer that produces the nearby hot springs, and it also gets wind and fog protection from Sonoma Mountain. Some of the cars from Cohn's antique car collection are on display here, notably his 1946 Woody. Picnic area, gourmet shop with olive oils, vinegars, and food products for sample and sale. BR Cohn hosts an annual charity concert at the end of September features top llive music performers, including the Doobies.
