Mauritson Wines
Mauritson is an upstart boutique producer of Dry Creek Valley zinfandel. The winery draws from its vast Wine Country vineyard holdings (six generations worth) to make high quality, small production wines. Bright, light tasting room at the corner of Dry Creek Road and Lytton Springs Road with comfy bar stools to keep you around for a while (tasting rooms with bar stools-could be addictive!). Pretty setting in the vineyard, picnic tables on the sunny side of the winery.
Notables: Mauritson is making some major bombs, especially from the Rockpile appellation. Move over, Rosenblum!
