These former garage winemakers got off to a fast start with their first professional vintages in the late 1990s. The Pinot Noir here has been received with wide critical acclaim, and so it sells out fast, especially single vineyard Russian River Valley bottlings. The Zinfandel is made in a style similar to the Pinots, not as much the dense jammy style. Tasting room has a salon feel. Park once and hit several other wineries-- Family Wineries of Dry Creek Valley (six wineries, co-op style), Peterson, and Amphora .
