Ty Caton grew up in Sonoma Valley with his family growing grapes for other wineries and still do. However Ty has struck out on his own and his wines have immediately won critical acclaim.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Ty and he is a very earnest person who is passionate about what he does. You can immediately tell when he speaks to you that he is serious about what he does. And in his case he see the whole process through, from the growing of the grapes to the winemaking.

The Ty Caton winery has 2 locations, his winemaking facility which is in the Los Carneros region which opens up for special events, and his tasting room located in the most scenic part of Sonoma Valley in Kenwood. The Ty Caton tasting room is in a convientant location which shares space with Muscardini Cellars and is neighbors with the Paradise Ridge tasting room and Enkidu's tasting room, all a short walk from each other.
