The charter of the Sonoma Plaza Foundation includes the preservation and restoration of the Plaza and the Red and White Ball was created to raise funds to keep this town treasure beautiful and accessible to the myriad of residents and visitors who use it daily.
Over the past 17 years, the foundation has contributed 100 percent of the proceeds of the Red and White Ball – over $800,000 – to Plaza projects and to local nonprofit associations. The Sonoma Red & White Ball Comittee would like to thank the generous businesses and individuals who donated to these efforts.

2008 - NO EVENT THIS YEAR
The Sonoma Red and White Ball, the annual fundraiser for The Sonoma Plaza Foundation, is taking a year off in 2008. The popular event, held yearly on the historic Plaza since 1990, will skip a year and provide a respite for the Sonoma Plaza, which has suffered in recent years from overuse and an increasing strain on its resources.
