The Windsor Pumpkin Festival
takes place every year on the Windsor Town Green. This is very much a family oriented affair as there are many things for young children to do. The day starts off with a pancake breakfast for a small fee and goes into full force with face painting, pumpkin painting, a scarecrow contest and the Pumpkin Car Races! Yes, contestants enter pumpkins with wheels and race them down a track!
The festival takes place on the Windsor Town Green, which is surrounded by little shops and restaurants. It's really easy to pick up a picnic lunch, lay out a blanket, and sit back and enjoy the festivities. The Windsor Pumpkin Festival
